মুসলিম এইড সম্পর্কে
Muslim Aid is a British charity and development organization established in 1985 in London and has been working in Bangladesh since 1991. It is register with NGO Affairs Bureau og Bangladesh Government ( FD 552). It works in the sentors of Disaster Management, Health & Nutrition , Education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene ( WASH), Livelihoods and Food Security.Muslim Aid Bangladesh is contributing to all of the eight goals of MDGs through its 93 branch offices and 185 Local NGOs and Civil society organizations. Muslim Aid serves around a million beneficiary every year. At present there are more than forty emergency and development projects being implemented across the country through its branch office and partners. It participates in verious advocacy campaigns at regional and national levels jointly with the government and civil society organizations. It organizes various events for sharing of scholarly articles with universities and institutes at home and abroad and participates in publication of good practices along with challenges in its operation.
Programme’s Interventions:
- Sustainable Livelihood including microfinance and SME , skill training and Agriculture livelihoods.
- Disaster Management including emergency & recovery, DRR/ CCA, resilience.
- Health Care including Health, Nutrition and WASH.
- Education & Child Protection including School feeding, Rainbow, non-formal education, etc.
